Mattel Accelerating Performance

The Project.

A new software was implemented in the Mattel LATAM offices called 'Accelerating Performance.' This program required employees to fill in their weekly goals, weekly feedback, and monthly results. However, the issue arose as employees barely used the software, preferring to use paper as they had done before the software's implementation.

The solution: We combined both methods by creating a starter kit for employees to write down their goals, feedback, and results on paper. We then incentivized employees to use the software by offering prizes to those who achieved their goals first.

The Logo.

Accelerating Performance. Goals, Feedback, and Results.

Created a logo for the ‘Accelerating Performance’ project. This logo must be rendered on all our products and prints, so it needs to be minimalist yet bold enough to stand out. To create the logo, it was necessary to include the words 'Goals, Feedback, and Results,' which represent the steps to be incorporated into the new software.

The logo also needed to include the Mattel Company logo and be the same height as the 'Accelerating Performance' logo.

The graphic language.

Designing playful illustrations proved to be the best approach to create an inviting product. By crafting colorful characters and transforming them into stress balls, we created a whole new product that people can touch and use, bridging the gap from paper to virtual. Imagine taking notes on paper, then using the stress ball with your left hand while typing your goals into the new software, turning this task into a pleasurable moment.
